PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a solenoid actuated valve capable of opening and closing its valve element in certain operations, lessening sufficiently the speed of the valve element immediately before finishing the opening/closing operation, and lessening the amount of computation per unit time. SOLUTION: The opening/closing timing deciding task 30 of this control device 3 decides the timing at which the opening/closing drive of the solenoid actuated valve 2 is started. The drive signal deciding task 31 decides the command value of the voltage or current of a solenoid coil at certain computing intervals using the timing decided by the task 30. The computing interval changing task 32 changes the computing intervals so that the intervals when the valve element lies near the position of finishing the opening/closing operation are shorter than the intervals when lying remotely. The drive signal deciding task 31 decides the command value for the voltage or current of the solenoid coil at certain computing intervals changed by the changing task 32.
