DUPLEX WINDING BAND BRAKE UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a duplex winding band brake unit capable of elongating the lifetime by preventing the fatigue breaking of the duplex winding brake band restraining the biased wear of the friction material. SOLUTION: An apply bracket 20 is fixed on an action end side of an intermediate band 4a. This apply bracket 20 is composed of a bracket body 24 having a contact face 22 by stroking a stem 8a of an actuator 8 to an arrow direction and one pair of arm parts 26 that are positioned on the end of the intermediate band 4a and extended to the position where faces to the circumference face of one pair of outer bands 4b from a bracket body 24. And one pair of arm parts 26 has a specified clearance to the outer circumference face of one pair of outer bands 4b when no wear position occurs in a friction material 12 of the intermediate band 4a.
