PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge capable of sufficiently ensuring the consistency and the reliability to the use with the friction torque in an extensive range. SOLUTION: The hinge comprises a supporting member 1 fitted to an equipment body, a supporting shaft 4 fitted between right and left supporting plates 1b of the supporting member 1, a plurality of friction plates 3 which are rotatably fitted to the supporting shaft 4, and a rotary shaft 2 which supports an opening/closing member in an opening/closing manner, is rotatably fitted to the supporting member 1, and inserted in friction holes 3b formed in the friction plates 3 with an abutting surface to be elastically friction-abutted thereon.
