PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient elastic roll which is excellent in toner mold-releasing characteristics, which can be suppressed at manufacturing costs, and in which toner can be fixed by high quality. SOLUTION: The elastic roll is manufactured by a coating method. A fluororesin containing at least one of a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and perfluromethyl ether, and a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoroethyl vinyl ether, is used as a fluororesin forming a fluororesin layer at the surface of the elastic roll.
