摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balancer structure for an engine which can reduce the longitudinal length of a crankcase in case of employing a biaxial primary balancer. SOLUTION: The balancer structure for an engine includes a crankshaft 21, and a first and second balancer shafts 105, 106 which are arranged parallel to the crankshaft 21. In the balancer structure, balancer gears 109, 110 on the first and second balancer shafts 105, 106 are driven for rotation by a crank gear 85 on the crankshaft 21. The first and second balancer shafts 105, 106 are respectively arranged on the front and rear sides of a vertical plane A including an axis of the crankshaft 21. On the second balancer shaft 106 is provided a counter gear 111 for transmitting rotation of the crankshaft 21 to a main shaft 87 of a transmission mechanism. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
