PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester composition which provides a molded product excellent in transparency and flavor retention and having less yellow tincture, and which is excellent in continuous moldability for a long time. SOLUTION: The polyester composition comprises a thermoplastic polyester and a partial aromatic polyamide, wherein the content of fine contained in the polyester is 5,000 ppm or less, and the difference between the melting point of the fine and that of the chips of the polyester obtained by a solid-state polymerization is 15°C or less.
