PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiography apparatus which dispenses with synchronizing with X-ray generation timing, and a radiography method. SOLUTION: An information section 130 informs a driving condition of an X-ray detector 110 so that a photographer can identify that the X-ray detector 110 is in a loading condition of a detected signal and irradiate X rays by turning on an irradiation button of an X-ray generator.
