PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wooden box suitable for housing and displaying bottles, whose weak part is reinforced without damaging the texture and beauty of wood, and to provide a display shelf using it. SOLUTION: In the wooden box comprising both side plates 3a and 3b, a rear surface plate 4, a bottom plate 5 and a front surface plate 6a fixed to the front part of both side plates 3a and 3b, and having the opened upper surface, a metallic reinforcing member 7 whose cross section is L-shaped is fixed so as to cover the lower end face of the front surface plate 6a and a back surface continued to the lower end face.
