FIELD: packing equipment, particularly for handling filled and sealed rectangular bag-like or film packages, for instance with animal feed. ^ SUBSTANCE: package has bottom, two longitudinal sides and bottom gusset. Bag packages are supported by the first longitudinal sides thereof and extend in vertical direction parallel one to another. Packages are gripped by the second, opposite, package sides with the use of comb gripper including gripping fingers. Griping fingers are moved between the second longitudinal sides of adjacent bag packages to move gripping fingers in longitudinal side direction from bottom package side and past bag bottom. ^ EFFECT: increased reliability of package gripping and handling. ^ 8 cl, 4 dwg |
