HIGH-DENSITY OPTICAL DISK WITH SUPER-RESOLUTION NEAR FIELD STRUCTURE, AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-density optical disk having a super-resolution near field structure and its manufacturing method.

SOLUTION: This is an optical disk that has a multilayer film on the base plate to record information using light. It includes at least a mask layer of a super-resolution near field structure, and at least a phase change recording auxiliary layer containing crystallizing propensity material. The optical disk of the super-resolution near field structure improves the quality of the reproduced signals by removing the instability and the unevenness of the reproduced signals when reproducing data, does not require initialization of the phase change recording auxiliary layer, and improves the productivity while reducing the production costs.
