MICROCHIP FOR CHEMICAL REACTION AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high integration degree microchip for chemical reactions which can perform reaction experiments under various conditions regardless of the kind of the chemical reactant used.

SOLUTION: The microchip capable of performing the analysis of a high-accuracy chemical reaction because of high durability even under high-temperature and highly corrosive conditions is obtained by using single-crystal diamond or polycrystalline diamond as the material therefor, laying a cover on the reaction zone, and forming a B-doped area in the diamond to allow localized heating.
