<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable cutting fluctuation at start of speed variation of a printing press to be suppressed for a controller of a shaftless web offset printing press. <P>SOLUTION: The shaftless web offset printing press comprising a plurality of units with different functions including a printing press 3 and a cooling device 5, each of the units requiring a driving force being provided with an independent motor comprises first motors 27b-27e for driving the printing press 3; second motors 27f, 27g, 27h for driving specific units for the cooling apparatus 5 and succeeding units; and a controller 30 for delaying acceleration starting time of the second motors 27f, 27g, 27h to acceleration starting time of the first motors 27b-27e in transition from a stationary state to an acceleration state while the first motors 27b-27e and the second motors 27f, 27g, 27h are synchronously controlled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
