<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly designable printing medium which can express a plurality of pieces of information by a variety of methods by combining two kinds of design, i.e. printed design and watermark design in a single medium. <P>SOLUTION: This printing medium 10 is equipped with a base material layer (a first layer) 11 with a printed design formation part 11a; at least a single transmittance changing layer (a second layer) 12 which is stacked on the back of the base material layer 11 and has a watermark design formation part 12a which is visually recognized through the base material layer 11; an adhesive layer 13 which is formed on the back of the transmittance changing layer 12 and sticks to an adherend; a separator 14 which is used as a protecting cover for the adhesive layer 13 before the use of the medium and is released when the medium is used; and the like. The transmittance changing layer 12 changes the transmittance and thereby, can form the watermark design formation part 12a by changing the transmittance through heating the medium itself using laser irradiation or a thermosensitive head. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
