<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat seal apparatus for a container which prevents a content in the container from spilling to the outside of the container. <P>SOLUTION: The heat seal apparatus comprises a fixed body part 3, a container receiving part 5 arranged on the fixed body part 3 to receive the open container, a movable body part 2 which is movable between first and second positions and is fitted with a heater 11, and a mobile mechanism for moving the movable body part 2. The container is received by the container receiving part 5 at the first position, and a film sheet is heat welded to the received container by the heater 11 at the second position. The apparatus further includes an operating lever 15 mounted on the movable body 2, a first holding means for holding the operating lever 15 at the first position against the movable body 2, an engagement releasing pin 19 which releases the holding by the first holding means as the operating lever 15 is operated to move the movable body 2 from the first position to the second position, and a second holding means for holding the operating lever 15 at the second position in such a way that the operating lever 15 is locked on a lock pin 6 of the fixed body 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
