<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for induction motors that can control the speed/torque with accuracy, and enables expansion of speed control range at low speeds, especially, in speed sensorless control. <P>SOLUTION: The controller for induction motors carries out control as follows: the axial deviation angle between motor coordinate system and current coordinate system is determined. The current detection phase angle is corrected so that the motor coordinate system coincides with the coordinate system of a current detection system. Or, by having the control carried out with the axial deviation angle (δ) taken into account, without conducting compensation for the phase of the axial deviation angle, highly stable control characteristics can be obtained over a wide operating range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
