<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for installing a fare machine whose crime-prevention property is enhanced at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: In the structure for installing a fare machine, a base member 4 is secured to a foundation part 1 and the fare machine 5 is fixedly installed on the base member 4. A reinforcing member 7 extending from the base member 4 to the fare machine 5 is provided on at least one of the opposite sides of the fare machine 5 and secured to the one side.
