PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug type raster image processor system, a processing method and a recording medium for the raster image processor extensible to various types of jobs. SOLUTION: The plug type raster image processing system comprises a raster image processor management layer 102, a plug type raster image processor layer 104 communicatively connected to the raster image processor management layer 102 and comprising a plurality of raster image processors, and a registry 110 communicatively connected to the raster image processor management layer 102 and the plug type raster image processor layer 104. When a job is received, the raster image processor management layer 102 determines a job type and the job is transmitted to the plug type raster image processor layer 104 for the processing.
