PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the communication efficiency from decreasing due to the increase of the time for assigning a wireless channel and connecting. SOLUTION: A processing section 102 of the terminal 100 requests the assignment of a radio channel to a base station apparatus 200 in response to a communication start instruction via an operation display section 101 and receives its response. A function confirmation section 103 of the terminal 100 and a function confirmation section 208 of the base station apparatus 200 search for respective storage sections (104, 209) to confirm the presence/absence of corresponding identification IDs. When no corresponding ID exists by the confirmation, the processing section 102 of the terminal 100 and a processing section 204 of the base station apparatus 200 discriminate the request to be a new channel assignment, and reach the communication state after the function confirmation section 103 confirms the function. On the other hand, when the corresponding IDs are found out, the request is discriminated to be an additional radio channel assignment, a result of function confirmation made at the new channel assignment is read from the storage section 104 and the connection processing is continued.
