PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque motor which can improve a size reduction and a weight reduction by constituting a stator and a magnetic pole of the stator so that necessary torque characteristics may be satisfied. SOLUTION: The torque motor has the operating angle range of a rotor (10) less than 180°, and includes the stator having a core and a coil in such a manner that two sets of the stators (20, 40) having different characteristics are disposed in a rotating axial direction of the rotor. Also, two magnets (12) are disposed on a periphery to a rotating axis in the rotor. Each core has two magnetic poles. The one stator (40) has a first core (43a) and a second core (43b). The magnetic poles of the first core and the second core are sequentially disposed in order of one magnetic pole (41a) of the first core, one magnetic pole (41b) of the second core, the other magnetic pole (42a) of the first core and the other magnetic pole (42b) of the second core along the periphery of the rotor.
