PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing toner having a coloring agent highly dispersed in particles in the process of manufacturing coloring agent composite particles and toner particles. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing toner includes steps of: dissolving a binder resin component in a supercritical fluid or a sub-critical fluid to mix with a coloring agent component; and decreasing the solubility of the binder resin component in the supercritical fluid or the sub-critical fluid to precipitate the binder resin component.
