PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration of appearance due to blackening by concealing a blackened part of a fluorescent lamp from the outside not to be visually identified when constituting at least the front wall of a shade surrounding the fluorescent lamp of the lighting apparatus for a showcase with an light transmitting resin. SOLUTION: In this lighting apparatus 1 for the showcase, at least the front wall of the shade 10 surrounding the fluorescent lamp 15 is made of the light transmitting resin, and the fluorescent lamp 15 comprises a glass tube 2 for lighting in which a fluorescent material 9 is applied to an inner wall surface in charge of a function as an illumination body and an auxiliary glass tube 3 provided continuously at the end of the glass tube 2 for lighting and concealed with a cover material 5 from the outside.
