PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera which is easy to realize since a digital camera has a CCD element as its imaging surface made small to a one part in several of a 35 mm film and then has a larger depth of field even when a lens with the same aperture is used to be hard to generate a blur, but photography with blur effect is still demanded. SOLUTION: The camera is equipped with a scatter degree varying member 3 which is provided nearby a primary image plane of an image pickup lens 1, an imaging lens 5 which forms an image of the primary image plane at an image recording position 7, and a control means 9 controlling the scattering degree of the scatter degree varying member 3.
