PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means enabling a user to easily confirm detailed program information that he/she wants to know relating to a selected program without damaging the visibility of a program listing. SOLUTION: A television receiver uses a user operation reception part 6 for receiving an operation from the user, a cursor position holding part 7 for holding a cursor position moved by the operation of the user, a pop-up display control part 9 for controlling the ON and OFF of pop-up display, a pop-up display construction part 8 for constructing data for the pop-up display, and a program listing display part 10 for performing the pop-up display with the program listing.
