PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass unit for crime prevention having a long time from detecting breaking of a glass plate to a state allowing intrusion, having high breaking detection accuracy of the glass plate, and capable of keeping anyone trying to trespass in check. SOLUTION: The glass unit 1 for crime prevention is composed by arranging a glass plate 4 for detection in an outermost layer of an outdoor side, arranging a resin layer in a side more to an indoor side than the glass plate 4 for detection, and fixing a conductive layer on an indoor side surface of the glass plate 4 for detection. Characters or a graphic symbol displaying that it is a glass unit for crime prevention toward the outdoor side is inscribed in a position of a surface of either one of the glass plate or the resin layer excluding an outdoor side surface of an outermost layer or an indoor side surface of an innermost layer.
