PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function to block operation of an electric circuit, at a low cost, when a commercially available photo film is loaded in a lens-fitted photographic film unit. SOLUTION: In the lens-fitted photographic film unit, a film cartridge 15 formed from an electroconductive resin is loaded. In a cartridge loading chamber in which the film cartridge 15 is loaded, a pair of contact pieces 32 which come in contact with a cartridge surface are disposed, and when the pair of contact pieces 32 are energized, strobe charge can be performed. When a commercially available photographic film is loaded in the lens-fitted photographic film unit, the pair of contact pieces 32 do not conduct an electric current and strobe charge is made impossible.
