PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and easily correct the width of the opening part of a slit. SOLUTION: A tabular member is stamped into a strap 10 where a slit 12 is arranged with a mold. The slit extends from an opening part on one end side to the bottom of an innermost part in the shorter direction of the strap 10. A first impact region 17 is placed between the bottom of the slit 12 and a key window 16. The first impact region 17 is made to impact by the descent of a punch 24 inside a strip 22 by surrounding the key window 16 and the first impact region 17 with the strip 22 to press them against each other. This reduces the thickness of a plate of the first impact region 17 by expanding it laterally and expands the width of the opening by opening the slit 12 so that it can be shaped like a sector.
