摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for measuring torque capable of easily and appropriately performing analysis work. SOLUTION: The apparatus for measuring torque is constituted in such a way that a signal processing device 16 has the surface of a rotator 13 irradiated with a laser beam from a laser beam output device 11 via a light-transmitting and receiving device 12, to determine torque of the rotator 13 on the basis of reflection patterns from reflectors 14a and 14b provided on the surface of the rotator 13. The signal processing device 16 specifies the positions of the reflection patterns of reflected light reflected by the reflectors 14a and 14b, provided for the rotator among reflected light data of the laser beam irradiated to the surface of the rotator 13; computes the rotational period or the amount of torsion of the rotator 13, on the basis of data within a reflection pattern range determined by the specified positions of the reflection patterns; and computes the torque on the basis of the computed amount of torsion of the rotator 13.
