PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a weight roller with less partial wear. SOLUTION: A weight roller 21 to be used for a drive pulley of a belt transmission is formed of sintered metal. A base material is a ferrous metal or the like. Lubricating powder formed of an inorganic material such as carbon or a metal such as molybdenum is mixed for powder lubricating component in the metal powder of this material, and molded in a die and sintered. Pores 24 are formed in the surface of a sintered body, and lubricant is impregnated through vacuum impregnation to realize an oil-less lubricating structure. The weight of this weight roller can be freely adjusted with high accuracy by precise measurement of the powder of the material and the diameter of a punch hole 25 formed in the axis part.
