PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial detergent which leaves little odor in a washed material, and a washing method using the same. SOLUTION: A material to be washed is soaked in the detergent comprising a silicone-based solvent (hereinafter referred to as component A) and 10-13C cyclic monoterpene and/or its derivative (hereinafter referred to as component B) in a volume ratio of 100:(1-50) and subjected to physical force through stirring, rotating, dropping, vibration, etc. The washed material is separated from the detergent into which stain components have eluted and subsequently dried.
