PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cut flower packing box which allows a water-retainer to be fixed at a constant location, and protects cut flowers from being damaged during transportation. SOLUTION: The cut flower packing box has a square columnar peripheral wall consisting of a pair of side plates 1 and a pair of end plates 2, and stores the water retainer 20 into which stems of the cut flowers are inserted, in a bottom portion thereof. According to the structure of the packing box, push-in piece 13 are formed by making incisions in the peripheral wall so as to cross a ridge of the same, and a protrusion 14 is formed at a lower edge of each push-in piece. Thus when the push-in piece 13 is pushed inward, it engages with a flange 21 of the water retainer 20, and the protrusion 14 of the push-in piece 13 holds a rib 22 bowed upward on a peripheral edge of the flange 21 of the water retainer 20.
