A door with enhanced storage, e.g. for kitchen cupboards, has a frame (12) fitted to the main carcase by conventional hinges, and a hollow construction comprising a shallow carcase (20) which opens and closes with the main door. A separate door panel (22) on the front of the structure provides access to the storage space inside the door without opening the whole door. This space can be used for frequently used small items, e.g. spice and herb storage etc.
