FIELD: automotive industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for use in vehicles to prevent unauthorized use or theft. It can be used in electrical systems of vehicles to switch on different units and mechanisms which are connected with antitheft device. Proposed ignition lock with antitheft device has housing with removable clamp enclosing fixed base member of vehicle which accommodates movable locable part, clamp fastening members made in form of fastening rod fitted in hole of housing and mated with holes in clamp, spring-loaded cross bar of antitheft device. Cross slots made on cylindrical surface of fastening rod and on cross bar are designed for relative interlocking to prevent demounting of fastening rod and clamp when cross bar is in operating position. Novelty is that fastening rod is made with member providing its turning by wrench, with two different-diameter seat necks made coaxially relative to each other and eccentrically relative to fastening rod for mating with holes in clamp. Hole in housing is blind, with stepped reduction of diameter in depth. Blind slots made in housing are designed for fitting ends of clamp, and cross slot on fastening member is made circular, enclosing cylindrical surface of fastening rod. ^ EFFECT: improved rigidity of construction and reliability in operation. ^ 2 dwg |
