<p>1281453 Toy outboard motors M ERNST 16 Oct 1970 [24 Oct 1969] 49388/70 Heading A6S An outboard toy motor comprises a housing 1 containing a battery 17 and an electric motor 4, the whole unit being attachable to a boat by means 3, 2 which may be swivelly attached to the housing for steering and may include, e.g. a suction cup for attachment to the boat. The motor 4 is detachably held in place in the lower part of the housing by screws 12, 13 passing through spring contacts 10, 11 fixed at their one end to the motor and which engage the poles of the battery 17 at their other ends. The battery 17 is contained in the upper part of the housing, which is formed to represent a motor chamber having a removable lid 23. Spring 11 may act as a switch via operating lever 20. The motor shaft 5 may be connected via a flexible shaft 7 to the propellor 8.</p> |
