<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ink that causes no ink leakage, when an applicator equipped with a tip point valve is filled with the ink and gives drawn lines without interruption. <P>SOLUTION: The aqueous ink composition comprises at least water, a coloring material and a water-soluble macromolecular compound.
