<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus capable of improving an identification ratio when identifying a pixel showing a marker among all the pixels of a wide-range image in a case of displaying an area extracted from the wide-range image as a magnified image and making the extracted area follow the position of the marker in the wide-range image. <P>SOLUTION: This endoscope apparatus is so formed that an image separation device 20 of an operation support system is provided with a first image reformation system 23 re-forming the wide-range image by an objective optical system 12 in a rigid scope 10 on an image picked up by a first camera C1, and a second image reformation optical system 25 re-forming a part of the wide-range image by the objective optical system 12 on the image picked by a second camera C2. A marker part 44 including a retroreflection material is disposed near the tip of an insertion part 42 of a treatment device 40. A control device 40 permanently stations the marker part 44 in the center of a magnified image projected on a first monitor M1 based on the position of high-luminance pixel group, which is extracted from all the pixels of first image data from the first camera C1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
