<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating electric machine by which the miniaturization of a rotating electric machine with a built-in choke coil or the like and the miniaturization of a device having the choke coil or the like can be realized. <P>SOLUTION: The rotating electric machine 5 is provided with an armature 11 which has an armature core 12 composed of a magnetic body and an armature coil 13 wound around the armature core 12, and a field capable of relative rotation to the armature. And it also has the other use coil 14 which is wound around the outer peripheral side of the armature core 12 so as to generate the magnetic flux in the rotating shaft direction that the field relatively rotates to the armature.
