<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular lamp wherein a shrinkage mark (streak pattern) appearing on a reflector surface is inconspicuous and light distribution is not disturbed by the presence of the shrinkage mark. <P>SOLUTION: In this vehicular lamp, a bulb 16A is housed in a lamp chamber A partitioned by a lamp body 10 with a reflector 14A composed of a plurality of reflection surface elements 14a formed inside and with a seal rib 30 formed on the back side, and by a transparent front cover 20. The vehicular lamp is so structured that the seal rib 30 is extended by generally corresponding to a border line 14a1 between the adjacent reflection surface elements 14a, 14a. Thereby, the shrinkage mark (streak pattern) having appeared on the surface of the reflector 14A is inconspicuous by being hidden by the border line 14a1 between the elements 14a, 14a clearly exposed nearly along the shrinkage mark (streak pattern). Even if a region along the border line 14a1 between the adjacent reflection surface elements without originally contributing to formation of light distribution is deformed by the shrinkage mark, the light distribution is never disturbed by light reflected by the shrinkage mark. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
