WATER PURIFYING APPARATUS OF CLOSED TYPE WATER CIRCULATING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the water purifying apparatus of a closed type water circulating system capable of dispensing with the discharge of water after backwashing and capable of reducing the supply of water into the system.

SOLUTION: The water purifying apparatus is formed by connecting a solid component removing tank 21, a filter tank 3 filled with a filter medium 2 and a circulating pump 23 to the water circulating route 1 of the closed type water circulating system and constituted so as to perform filtering operation for passing water through the filter tank 3 from the solid component removing tank 21 by the circulating pump 23 while circulating the same through the water circulating route 1 and backwashing operation for washing the filter medium 2 in the filter tank 3 under stirring to peel the solid component deposited on the filter medium 2. The filter tank 3 and the solid component removing tank 21 are arranged so that the water level in the filter tank 3 becomes higher than that in the solid component removing tank 21. A backwashing discharge passage 15 for discharging the water in the filter tank 3 at the time of backwashing operation to wash the filter medium 2 under stirring is provided so as to be branched from the water circulating route 1. A backwashing return passage 16 for returning the water in the filter tank 3 at the time of backwashing operation to the solid component removing tank 5 is provided between the filter tank 3 and the solid component removing tank 21.
