摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a battery fully exhibit its performance by managing its temperature to be in a more proper state. SOLUTION: The charging and discharging of the battery is controlled by setting targeted charging and discharging capacity Pch*, based on the remaining capacity SOC of the battery, using a map showing the relation that the lower the temperature of the battery, with the larger the inclination of the target charging and discharging capacity Pch* with respect to the changes in the remaining capacity SOC becomes, the larger hysteresis to the change of the remaining capacity SOC becomes. By this control, the lower the temperature of the battery is, the more actively the battery is charged and discharged. Moreover, hysteresis is made larger, when the charging and discharging are performed actively so that the battery in a low temperature can be warmed effectively and its performance can be put forth sufficiently, while preventing the frequent switching of the charging and discharging.
