PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk unit equipped with a disk insert/eject device capable of maintaining performance even when a plurality of stacked disks are forcedly inserted. SOLUTION: The disk unit includes the disk insert/eject device 10. The disk insert/eject device 10 includes a disk guide member 40 having contact portions 42a, 42b possible to contact with a disk 200 for restricting the movement of the disk 200 in a direction indicated by an arrow 12 substantially perpendicular to the direction of the insert and eject of the disk 200, and disk movement restriction members 50, 55 having contact portions 51, 56 possible to contact with the disk 200 for restricting the movement of the disk 200 in a direction indicated by an arrow 11. The disk unit further includes a base 30 for supporting the disk movement restriction members 50, 55 movably in the directions indicated by the arrows 11, 12 with respect to the disk guide member 40, and elastic parts 113, 118 for energizing the disk movement restriction members 50, 55 in the direction indicated by the arrow 12.
