PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particulate separating device capable of reducing or avoiding fear such that a crossing region, where a first passage and a second passage are connected, is clogged with particulates, a particulate separating and sorting apparatus and a particulate separating method. SOLUTION: This particulate separating device is equipped with the first passage 1 for permitting a particulate-containing liquid 10 containing a large number of particulates 7 to flow and the second passage 2 communicating with the first passage through the crossing region 5, which crosses the first passage 1 and dividing the flow of the particulate-containing liquid 10 in the first passage 1 in the crossing region 5 to allow a dividing liquid material 20, which forms a large number of liquid droplets 70 containing particulates 7, to flow. A particulate putting-aside means 3 for putting the particulates 7 flowing through the first passage 1 to one or other side in the passage width direction of the first passage 1 is provided.
