PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light projecting unit of a multi-optical axis photoelectric sensor, a light receiving unit, and a multi-optical axis photoelectric sensor, which are affected by the difference between a coefficient of thermal expansion of an optical base and that of a lens member as less as possible in a constitution where the lens member is integrated with the optical base in such a state that the lens system is positioned. SOLUTION: A light projecting unit 13 attached to a main body case 12 comprises a light projecting lens member 17 and a light projecting optical base 18. In the light projecting optical base 18, a plurality of light projecting substrates 22 are mounted on an FPC cable substrate 21 at intervals. The light projecting substrates 22 are supported by reference pins 25 formed correspondingly to lens parts 20 of the light projecting lens member 17. Since the FPC cable substrate 21 connecting respective light projecting substrates 22 freely expands and contracts due to flexible parts 24, misalignment between optical axes of lens parts 20 of the light projecting lens member 17 and those of light projecting elements 23 of the light projecting substrate 22 is prevented though the length in the lengthwise direction of the light projecting lens member 17 is changed by an environmental temperature for use.
