PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information transmitting/receiving device that allows a person, who goes to meet a person waiting, to accurately grasp the state of a meeting place by a picture, and to find out the person waiting. SOLUTION: The information transmitting/receiving device includes a current position acquiring means 1 that is provided at the side of a first user who waits for a second user at a specified meeting place and acquires the current position of the first user; a meeting place acquiring means 2 for acquiring the meeting place of the first and second users; a travel direction estimation means 3 for estimating the direction of movement of the first user who arrives at the meeting place, based on the positional relation between the current position of the first user and the meeting place; an imaging command generating means 5 for generating an imaging command for making the picture of the meeting place in a specified imaging direction imaged, based on the travel direction, estimated by the travel direction estimation means 3; and a transmitting/receiving means 6 for transmitting a generated imaging command toward the second user.
