PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a super abrasive grain layer using a resin bond, a metal bond, and a vitrified bond as a bonding material; a super abrasive grain wheel with a shaft superior in durability, and capable of highly accurate and highly efficient grinding work over a long period, by firmly joining a shaft; and a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: A tapered axial part is integrally arranged with the shaft on one end of the shaft. The super abrasive grain layer is fixed to a surface of the axial part by a hot press. A microscopic round part or a plane part is desirably arranged on the tip of the axial part so as not to be deformed in the hot press. Sand blast processing is desirably applied to the surface for enhancing bonding power of the axial part and the super abrasive grain layer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
