OPTICAL CODE DIVISION MULTIPLEX TRANSMISSION METHOD AND OPTICAL CODE DIVISION MULTIPLEX TRANSMITTING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unify the operating characteristics of an encoder and a decoder by adjusting the operating wavelength of the decoder.

SOLUTION: The decoder 24 of the optical code division multiplex transmitting device is provided with a second SSFBG 44 and has a mechanism for adjusting (phase adjustment step) a fixing part interval L being an interval between first and second fixing parts which fix the second SSFBG so as to maximize the size of an eye opening of an optical pulse outputted from the second SSFBG. A correlated waveform monitor 30 measures the size of the eye opening and the measured data is sent to a wavelength control part 32. The wavelength control part sends a signal for setting the fixing part interval L to a movable control part 34 on the basis of data about the size of the eye opening sent from the correlated waveform monitor.
