<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the convenience of a manufacturer, a renting trader and a user while using an existing system of a store in renting commodity. <P>SOLUTION: A server 12 specifies a renting place, a renting period and a renting fee for the selected commodity, makes a reservation for rent and transport the commodity to the renting place in response to a request from a client machine 16. The server 12 transmits information including a bar code indicating an amount of rent and a request source to the client machine 16 in response to the commodity request from the client machine 16 to present the renting fee, based on the bar code read through a scanner connected to a terminal device at the renting place.
