<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide content in part for a time corresponding to a user's deposit account balance even if the balance is less than the price of desired content. <P>SOLUTION: In a pay content providing system, a content providing server 20 has means for acquiring a user's deposit account balance from a deposit settlement server 30 when receiving an order for content, means for notifying an insufficient balance to a user terminal 10 to request a selection of subsequent processing if the deposit account balance is less than the price of the ordered content, means for calculating an available time depending on the balance if the selected processing is a content view for a time depending on the balance, means for providing the user terminal 10 with the content for the available time, means for searching for content and presenting it to the user terminal 10 to provide selected content if the selected processing is the provision of other content viewable by the balance, and means for requesting the deposit settlement server to settle the content price. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
