<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy management device that can improve comprehensive energy conservation by explicating benefits to a company and a customer who have concluded a performance contract on new equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The energy management device comprises a benefit computing means 10 for computing benefits to a customer and a company according to information stored in an energy consumption storage part 5, a standard value storage part 7, an investment storage part 8 and a payment storage part 9, and if the customer's benefit or the company's benefit over the term of a contract between the customer and the company does not exceed a given value, the contract term is automatically renewed and the renewed contract term is noticed.
