<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in the conventional recording apparatus that a small-sized terminal such as a mobile phone can only make communication for the major purpose of exchanging data files stored therein and cannot make various settings related to printing. <P>SOLUTION: Upon receiving setting data wirelessly transmitted from the mobile phone including parameters related to printing, a printer sets the print parameters in a print controller 213 according to the received setting data. The printer then renders image data transmitted by wireless from the mobile phone and prints the rendered image by the print controller 213. When setting data including the parameters related to printing are not received from the mobile phone, the printer sets the default print parameters stored in a default print setting storage section 214, renders the image data transmitted by wireless from the mobile phone, and prints the rendered image by using the printer controller 213. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
