PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem that, when storage device types, cache division units or the like are mixed in the same characteristic group inside one storage device system, the creation of a replication volume paid with attention to the characteristic thereof is not taken into consideration. SOLUTION: The system side has a table recording the characteristic of each volume, and a manager can exhibit or assign a candidate of the replication volume even without being conscious of the characteristic.
